He was a member of International Harvesters Collectors Chapter 6 and the Deshler American Legion Post #316. He was very active through the years as a member of the Northwest Ohio Tractor Pullers Association, spending many years at the National Pulls in Bowling Green. He was also a retired bus driver, having driven for Patrick Henry, Otsego and McComb Schools. He spent years collecting and restoring old antique tractors, particularly International Harvesters. He was a lifetime farmer and enjoyed all the benefits of a family farm. He was born on January 3,1932 in Hoytville, Ohio to the late William and Etta "Ettie" (Hartman) Stott.
